Here’s a brief overview of Articles 124 to 147: Art. 124: Establishes the Supreme Court; appointment, qualifications, and removal of judges. Art. 125: Salaries and service conditions of judges. Art. 126: Appointment of Acting Chief Justice. Art. 127: Ad hoc judges from High Courts. Art. 128: Attendance of retired judges. Art. 129: Supreme Court as a court of record; power to punish for contempt. Art. 130: Seat of the Supreme Court (Delhi, unless otherwise decided). Art. 131: Original jurisdiction in disputes between Centre and States. Art. 132–134: Appellate jurisdiction in constitutional, civil, and criminal matters. Art. 134A: Certificate for appeal to the Supreme Court. Art. 135: Power to exercise jurisdiction under pre-Constitution laws. Art. 136: Special Leave Petition (SLP) jurisdiction. Art. 137: Power to review own judgments. Art. 138–139A: Enlargement of jurisdiction and power to transfer cases. Art. 140: Ancillary powers. Art. 141: Supreme Court’s decisions binding on all courts. Art. 142: Power to do complete justice. Art. 143: Advisory jurisdiction (President can seek opinion). Art. 144: All authorities to act in aid of the Supreme Court.
